Mission Statement of The Baby Scoop Era Research Initiative
:
The mission of BSERI is to research and educate society and state and
federal government about improper and unethical American domestic adoption
practices between the years of 1945 - 1972 called the Baby Scoop Era
(BSE).
Goals of The Baby Scoop Era Research Initiative:

To provide information about the Baby Scoop for mothers
of the BSE as well as the wider community.

To promote the process of healing the psychological
and emotional damage caused by adoption separation and secrecy by
providinginformation via research on the Baby Scoop Era.

To promote awareness and understanding of the permanent
medical and psychological consequences associated with adoption
loss during the Baby Scoop Era.

To seek acknowledgment, accountability, and redress
for negligent, improper and unethical adoption practices during
the Baby Scoop Era.

To liaise with any Government departments or other
agency, body or individual who may assist in promoting our objectives.
